Attempting any studying today is useless, so let's question meme instead! Ask me anything about my characters, playstyle, other rp related things, whateverrr. And then I'll ask things back and together we can entertain each other

Characters are: Gokudera/Nova at Thusia, Kaoru at Deco and Aather, and Yayoi everywhere because I can. Jabberwock and The Wood are my NPCs but I reserve the right to just be cryptic in replies to questions about them. :)

Yes! For a while Kaoru was in a pretty deep funk, particularly around the time he plastered Leo's secrets all over the wall. (He was trying to entertain himself on some level with that stunt.) So when he got such a strong negative reaction from literally everyone he kind of amplified each individual reaction and gave it more meaning and weight than they probably really had which is why he was so uneasy around Yosuke during Leo's heart. He'd worked himself up into thinking he'd ruined everything forever!!!!!! But then Yosuke was himself and pretty much killed that notion entirely. He's still a little confused by it but is coming around to the idea that maybe he's being a little bit ridiculous in some of his assumptions.

He does appreciate Yosuke calling him out on being a huge reckless jerk with the graffiti stunt. It WAS a careless move, and he might not have entirely realized it until Celeste actually showed up if Yosuke hadn't been blunt with him about it. :'D It was a negative response, but it was one he could understand. He also won points for not just beating around the bush to work up to it, he was clear pretty quick.

That aside, he plain just likes Yosuke. He's fun to tease and doesn't seem like a person who takes it to heart when he's picked on. He's important to Teddy and in turn clearly has a soft spot for Teddy himself. Kaoru isn't especially attached to Teddy himself, but he can recognize that Ted's a good guy, so someone who cares about him is going to win points based on that alone.

He also thinks Yosuke has . . . kind of a good head on his shoulders . . . Thinks he's better able to deal with the more brutal things Deco can throw at people in games (in comparison to Shell's more delicate members) and views him as someone more capable than himself. The kind of guy he might consider getting advice from for certain situations. Even if he's kind of a clueless loser at times.

Reverse?

The one thing the main characters in p4 super have going for them (Yosuke included) is that they are ridiculously accepting for some reason. Empty bear costume? It's okay dude we're friends. Robot girl with giant battle axe? COOL let's party. So while he does think Kaoru was a dick with the graffiti stunt, he's just not the type that would write him off for it -- he said his piece, Kaoru seemed to get it, end of story :|a he might think twice about trusting him with any secrets, or then again he might just blurt stuff anyway because he's Yosuke so who knows \:D/

He thoroughly enjoys Shell tho. Shell just strikes him as a team that is so normal (space manatees aside). Like, they had normal lives, he can communicate with them and they make sense -- he's coming from a team where half of them had messed up lives and insist that Canary has to ~save the psycho~ and be all sympathetic with March even though it's getting them stabbed an awful lot, and he just can't understand that. He's a normal dumb teenage boy and pretty much all of p4 is about hunting down the psycho to keep them from killing again, Canary just goes so against his worldview while Shell fits it. So hanging with Shell is kind of a relief.

He also does like Kaoru -- like I said, he doesn't see a particular need to write him off over one dumb graffiti incident (and he's seen Leo's heart, dude really is crazy) and actually the fact that he teases and gives a hard time is part of why he likes him. It's very familiar, that's the kind of dynamic most of the cast of p4 has with each other, and he doesn't take it to heart. It feels normal and like bros hanging out and he probably wouldn't think twice about counting Kaoru as a friend.

He thinks Kaoru's pretty defensive and touchy, but since he can recognize that, he doesn't really take it to heart either if he gets that kind of reaction. That's why meeting up with Kaoru in Leo's heart was basically like YO DUDE SUP /nothing happened amirite. Like, same as with being teased, as long as he's not perceiving it as a personal attack it doesn't super upset him and his reaction is just gonna be INDIGNATION!!1 in the moment and otherwise it's no big deal let's all move on shall we. Also, he doesn't think Kaoru is stupid -- he gets the sense that Kaoru is hearing what people say to him and not just brushing it off or ignoring it, no matter how he might be responding at first.

He feels sort of responsible for Teddie and a little bad that Shell's saddled with the job of looking after him, especially since it's been made pretty clear that was his role back home (and even if it wasn't, as the only other p4 person in Deco, he'd consider it his responsibility anyway).

Hilariously he actually does have a pretty good head on his shoulders \:D/ he's sort of the MC's voice in p4 (since it's a silent protagonist game) and actually pitches a lot of the ideas for next steps for the persona team, initiates their actions, works through a lot of the deductions/logic/theories on the murder case, etc. He just... is a clueless loser at times. With no brain-to-mouth filter.

ALSO he just wants to talk to Tamaki and Kaoru more because they have personas too '-'

Why did you pick the persona you did for Kaoru?
