Attempting any studying today is useless, so let's question meme instead! Ask me anything about my characters, playstyle, other rp related things, whateverrr. And then I'll ask things back and together we can entertain each other

Characters are: Gokudera/Nova at Thusia, Kaoru at Deco and Aather, and Yayoi everywhere because I can. Jabberwock and The Wood are my NPCs but I reserve the right to just be cryptic in replies to questions about them. :)

While Hikaru hasn't taken the memories quite yeeeeet, I'm going to go in assuming what will happen when he does take them because they're significant enough! The memory mashup of Kit's arrival and Wako's heart game is going to give him such a possessiveness boost and the one he got after that isn't going to help much.

Before he had any memories of Kaoru, he was already kind of secretly protective of him because Kaoru was able to say the right sort of things when he needed it, showed attention when Hikaru wanted it, obviously showed how much he cared, etc. etc. But he will remember Kaoru well and it's a memory where he's very much in sync with Kaoru (esp. with their feelings and their protectiveness with Tamaki) and that means he's going to be even MORE protective.

On the other hand, he also remembers people keeping secrets from him in Aather, ty coral, AND BTW he kind of hates it a lot. :') And he darn well knows Kaoru is hiding stuff from him! Buuuut he's starting to understand why Kaoru hides some things considering the people Kaoru has chosen to trust and the way they return that trust \(unsure)/ Your life is so hard, bro.

If Kaoru knew what his wish was, would he consider all of this worth it for that wish?

Yes. His wish will effectively undo all of EC which would mean he and his Hikaru never get separated, and that's so unbelievably important. His Hikaru at one point said he wished he could die so he and Kaoru could be the same again. :') And there is just a lot of really vicious angst over having been separated and how Kaoru went through experiences Hikaru didn't. (It could go both ways but it doesn't because Kaoru is a huge idiot for Hikaru \:D/)

What might be a problem now is that erasing EC would mean erasing ever meeting Elliot, so he might want to revise it a little so he can still have the opportunity to know him somehow.

What would Hikaru think of the whole EC situation and resulting mess?

THERE WILL PROBABLY BE A LOT OF HIM SHIFTING THE BLAME ONTO HIMSELF FOR ONE. I mean I don't recall but I am pretty sure at the point I took him from, he had been in Aather for aaabout five months? That's five months of him being separated from Kaoru, and as far as he knows, Kaoru has been by himself during that time. So in a way, it'll be like "oh ok, I guess while I was off having sorta fun in Aather, Kaoru has been miserable. :'|"

But then there's the whole other mess of I AM NOT KAORU'S HIKARU and that will make him freak out in a whole different level. I mean existential crisis aside, there's another Kaoru in sabraather who is possibly still there. And so far nothing in Deco has even come close to the terror he has experienced from that vore game, not even Clover and Frayed's game. \o/; Because while he was scared, he didn't blue screen as hard as he did while watching Aquarius's implosion.

HE'LL JUST WANT A LOT OF CONFIRMATION AFTERWARDS THAT KAORU STILL LOVES HIM AND NOT JUST BECAUSE HE HAPPENS TO BE ANOTHER HIKARU and will probably throw an intense fit. :'|

How solid is Kaoru's grasp on the idea that Hikaru might not be "his Hikaru" anyway?

Nnnnot very. He's beginning to get a vague suspicion, but it's very minor and not entirely on a conscious level. If he thinks about it he knows there's something kind of off between the idea of Hikaru in magical drugtrip space and Hikaru in Aather—he doesn't get why Dragonfly wouldn't have any memory at all of Wandering Stars when it was obviously an intensely emotional stay there. (And, I mean, a memory of it that he would've shared with Kaito. SOMEONE should know something about it given the severe levels of distress he remembers in relation to it, but no one's given him any indication that they know anything about it.)

But it's early on in memory regains and he doesn't really know Kit or Leo well enough to judge if they'd be keeping information about it from him or not. Add into that all the trainwrecking he's been dealing with and his focus on Hikaru and worrying about people other than himself and it's just not something that's really on his mind right now. His focus is elsewhere, but if he gets back more memories about EC or WS it's going to set him wondering more and more about it.

How's Hikaru doing in Aather right now?
